We thought it would be fun to make a stem topcap that looks like the pad adjuster of our Klamper Disk Brakes, so you can really tie the room together when you have a bike with Klampers and a Boxcar Stem.

Product Story

These little fellas are machined by us, right here in sunny Chico California. Of course their main purpose is to adjust the preload of your threadless headset and help hold your stem on, but we thought it would be cool to emulate the look of our Klamper pad adjusters and really complete the aesthetic on a bike with Klampers and a Boxcar Stem.

They also say “Have A Nice Ride” on them, because we really do want you to!

These are machined to tolerances waaay higher than necessary for a stem topcap, but that’s just how we roll.

After we made some brass Baby Groovy barrel adjusters, we decided to make a batch of brass spring adjusters. These fit any and all of our rim brakes. Maybe this is a one-time thing (they weigh literally 3 times as much as our normal aluminum spring adjusters). Maybe we’ll offer them forever (they do look pretty cool). Either way, you’re weird for even reading this much about brake spring adjusters!

We had A TON of requests for a PAUL brake that wo We had A TON of requests for a PAUL brake that would fit Brompton folding bikes, and after witnessing waaay too many bad and downright dangerous adaptations of our (and other crappy knock-off) brakes, we decided to do something about it. We modified the reach of our cult-classic Racer-M, and added a super stiff sealed-cartridge bearing roller bridge and adjustable trunion to make the most powerful, best modulating, most adjustable brake ever made for Brompton bikes. Yeah, Bromptons are weird, but we’re weird, and you’re weird, and sometimes it takes a bunch of bike-nerd weirdos to machine brakes this good, and that’s what we did! Full length video coming after we get back from @made.bike, but for now these brakes are available on our website.✌️
