The Fixed/Disk WORD hub is just like the Disk WORD, except we've cut fixed gear cog and lockring threads into the drive side of the hub shell instead of the traditional freewheel threading. If you're looking for a 135mm spaced fixed gear hub for your mountain frame, or want to mount disk brakes on your fixed commuter, the Fixed/Disk WORD has you covered.

Built to the same exacting standards as the rest of our hubs, the Fixed/Disk WORD shares the same ISO standard 6 bolt disk attachment and high-strength flanges of the Disk WORD and Disk FHUB, along with their sealed bearings and easy adjustment. We also include our own heavy duty lockring, to ensure that your cog doesn't budge.

The Fixed/Disk WORD is only available with a bolt-on axle and heavily knurled brass bolt washers. Because a chain tensioner cannot safely be used with a fixed gear wheel, we recommend using the Fixed/Disk WORD hub on frames with horizontal droupouts.
